I guys long time no post I know. I’ve not really got time to do nail art these days. Anyway my niece has made a short film about domestic violence and I would love it if you would watch it and share. It’s really good. It has been entered into a competition too so I don’t think it is just my bias XD

Mix up rose gold and pastel gel polish nails

Hiya

I wanted something fresh and summery with a little touch of bright so I decided to do this.

Using IBD Just Gel Polish with a base of Whipped Cream and Full Bruum (blue), Hot Springs (green) and Sweet Melody (watermelon pink) sponged onto the base. Then striped Gelish in Oh What a Knight (rose gold) and That's Amore (bright pink) in different directions.

Neon with dots and a Disney accent nail

My client was getting ready to jet off to florida and wanted a subtle Disney themed nail art design. We used IBD Just Gel in Flowerful with whipped cream dots and a Mickey Mouse silhouette using China Glaze Gelaze in Liquid Leather. 

Moroccan inspired nails

Hi 

I found a really nice pedicure design on Pinterest and I used the design for this manicure. I changed the colours very slightly but the idea was all theirs - ameblo.jp 

I used IBD just gel polish in dockside diva on the ring, index and thumb and lucky red for the pinky and middle fingers. I then used gel paint in assorted colours with dotting tools of various sizes to create the design

Wear Teal in March for Ovacome

Ovarian cancer is called the silent killer because the symptoms are vague and not always picked up by GPs. I had problems for about 2 years with stomach aches they put down to IBS, when I was 25 i saw a different doctor and she thought I may have ovarian cysts she sent me for an ultrasound and they found 2 cysts 7cm in diameter each. They were concerned about their appearance and i was sent to the rapid access clinic, this is where you go if they suspect ovarian cancer, they did blood tests which luckily indicated it probably wasn't cancer and they scheduled surgery to get them removed ASAP. It was a hard surgery which took me a long time to recover from because they couldn't remove them via keyhole. Anyway, the point is look after yourself, if your not happy with your diagnosis keep going to different doctors until you find someone who listens. As with all cancer the earlier you get treated the better your chances

Watercolour nail art

These nails are done using a mixture of gel polishes then sweeping a fan brush over before curing to give this effect. I framed the nails with smokey plum and also dragged a little of this over the nail to tie it all in

ibd just gel semi precious stone effect with 24K gold leaf

I used a base of ibd just gel in turtle bay layered with Sargasso blue. I then used viking winter to create texture and added some gold leaf to the sticky layer before sealing with the top coat.

Fun way to wear all my summer colours at once I used Rocco (yellow), Jupiter Blue (green), She's Blushing (corally colour), Raindrops (purple) and My Babe (lilac)
 

ibd just gel neon tribal nail art

Bright nails I did on myself there are black pyramid studs and all my super neon ibd just gel polishes.
They are custom blend purple on my thumb, infinitely curious, parasol, solar rays and custom blend green (the pink and green are more vibrant in person)

I can't wear neons too well because of my skin tone but adding the black made them much more wearable for me :D

IBD just gel Bridal Nails

This is a nail trial I did for a client.She wanted a french manicure with some sparkle but not rhinestones as they would take away from her beautiful engagement ring. We used a white iridescent glitter on the tips to make them pop and the effect was so pretty - I'm not sure the picture really captures it. 

IBD just gel vintage roses

This design is a favorite with my clients I've done it twice this week alone :D It is perfect because it's so pretty and looks great. 

I used ibd just gel in Hot Springs for the base colour and Juliette and Gerber Daisy for the roses and Jupiter Blue for the leaves which you probably can't see. 
Everyone always says they get a lot of compliments on their nails when they have this which is so lovely :D

 It's so hard to find swatches of ibd just gel online I thought i would put this one on for my fellow techs so they can spy the colours :D It's also a fun way to wear colours when you can't just pick one.

Thumb - Jupiter blue

She's blushing, Raindrops and Jupiter are probably the most requested colours I have (parasol could add to that in the summer)
