ibd just gel semi precious stone effect with 24K gold leaf

I used a base of ibd just gel in turtle bay layered with Sargasso blue. I then used viking winter to create texture and added some gold leaf to the sticky layer before sealing with the top coat.

Fun way to wear all my summer colours at once I used Rocco (yellow), Jupiter Blue (green), She's Blushing (corally colour), Raindrops (purple) and My Babe (lilac)
 

ibd just gel neon tribal nail art

Bright nails I did on myself there are black pyramid studs and all my super neon ibd just gel polishes.
They are custom blend purple on my thumb, infinitely curious, parasol, solar rays and custom blend green (the pink and green are more vibrant in person)

I can't wear neons too well because of my skin tone but adding the black made them much more wearable for me :D

IBD just gel Bridal Nails

This is a nail trial I did for a client.She wanted a french manicure with some sparkle but not rhinestones as they would take away from her beautiful engagement ring. We used a white iridescent glitter on the tips to make them pop and the effect was so pretty - I'm not sure the picture really captures it. 

IBD just gel vintage roses

This design is a favorite with my clients I've done it twice this week alone :D It is perfect because it's so pretty and looks great. 

I used ibd just gel in Hot Springs for the base colour and Juliette and Gerber Daisy for the roses and Jupiter Blue for the leaves which you probably can't see. 
Everyone always says they get a lot of compliments on their nails when they have this which is so lovely :D

Purple Glitter rockstar nails

I love having gel polish to do my own nails. As much as I love painting nails it is so great to not have to worry for 2-3 weeks about them. Another great thing about gel polish is that you can scrub glitter into the inhibition layer to get this

So pretty! I can't stop looking at my nails :D I have got lots of compliments too while out and about which is always nice.
I didn't realise until the day there was a purple nail noh8 campaign on nail blogs so I'm glad I accidentally joined in.

Unicorn Nail Art

If you follow my instagram you have seen these nails a few weeks *ahem months ahem* ago. 
I was totally inspired by several images I had seen on intrinsically florrie and some other bits which can be found on my pinterest nail art inspiration board.

I love the carousel horse and unicorn! They are so pretty and I loved wearing these nails. The little finger is a Rockstar nail (glitter and gel polish) with AB crystals attached. Index is Barielle Princess base colour, middle is Boots 17 Mint Choc Chip, the ring finger base colour is China Glaze Light as Air and the thumb base coat is Barielle Love. The designs were made up of a mixture of those polishes and acrylic paints. These aren't my natural nails I have got ibd gel enhancements on.

Dotty tribal design

Hiya!
I hope you are still with me! I'm sorry I don't post art too much these days but I am working really hard on my business and I still have a job so it is hard to fit it all in.

I did these nails a while back when the sun was still shining! I can't remember what polishes I used for definite I think Models Own concrete mixer and the pink is sophies pink also by Models own and I used acrylic paints for the dots. 

The whole design is made of a series of dots. It is so easy to do just plot your design and go for it. I used a dotting tool for most of it and a striping brush for the few straight lines.
 Anyway I hope you enjoy this and it gives you some ideas for your own dotty manicures

Tia's Sleepover party

Pamper Party Nails - Jack Wills Inspired

My niece is turning 12 on today and having a sleepover on Saturday  and of course I am popping over to do the nails! We were having a little trial yesterday and here is what she wanted

 Really simple used Essie French affair from the 2011 mini french affair cube and China Glaze first mate then white acrylic paint for the letters. Nice and simple and she loves it! 


 

French Manicure with a twist

I used Models Own in Pink Fizz instead of white. I think it looks so pretty

 I have IBD gel enhancements on and then I applied the pink glitter polish. I loved it for a few days and then I felt it looked a bit unfinished so I added this

I used a nail art striper for the silver line and a little pearl bow from ebay. I don't think this will be the last version of this I do. I really like the polish and think little rows of pearls and rhinestones will look lovely!

Pearls, Glitter and Rhinestone

I love pearls, pink glitter and rhinestones so I put them all together for this manicure! The lilac is Essie Nice is Nice and the Glitter is Models Own Pink Fizz. I attached various ebay rhinestones, pearls and bows with brush on resin from Sallys. 

 I love it it's so pretty!

IBD Just Gel in Jupiter Blue with Polka Dots

This is my favourite IBD just gel polish colour. It reminds me of Essie candy apple but I prefer it as it is slightly more blue. I put white and pink polka dots on it as those colours just go so well with this colour.

I love this combination which is just as well as IBD just gel lasts up to 3 weeks if your nails are in good condition.
