Dotty tribal design

Hiya!
I hope you are still with me! I'm sorry I don't post art too much these days but I am working really hard on my business and I still have a job so it is hard to fit it all in.
I did these nails a while back when the sun was still shining! I can't remember what polishes I used for definite I think Models Own concrete mixer and the pink is sophies pink also by Models own and I used acrylic paints for the dots.

The whole design is made of a series of dots. It is so easy to do just plot your design and go for it. I used a dotting tool for most of it and a striping brush for the few straight lines.
Anyway I hope you enjoy this and it gives you some ideas for your own dotty manicures

Rainbow Gradient Nail Art

I was talking to one of my clients and she wants a rainbow gradient next time she comes in so I had to have a little practice first. If you want to know how to do this technique Sammy has a great tutorial here
I didn't follow here technique I just made it up but I know lots of people have been using this with great success. I put 5 colours on my foil and dipped my little sponge in (IBD Nail wipes are fab for this as the holes in the sponge aren't too large)

On the index and middle fingers the colours showing are Essie Fiji, Models Own Lemon Meringue and Essie Candy Apple on the ring and pinkie the colours showing are Essie Candy Apple, Models Own Blooboo and Essie Nice is Nice.
I think this will be continued tomorrow.... :D

3D nail art

I have posted these on instagram (staciefields) but I thought it would be nice to record them on my blog. I am going to schedule several posts over the next few days which I have posted a quick pic on instagram (and that also goes to my twitter and tumblr accounts) I can put some details in about them too. You might have also noticed some changes to my blog. I've updated it to match my nail bar and business cards so it's all themed. That makes me happy that it matches :D

So I had IBD enhancements on and painted my ring finger and thumb white (color club french tip white) and painted a chequer board pattern on there with a brush and MUA shade 1 (the black one I think it's shade one) I then painted the remaining fingers with the black. I added Essence Nail Art Twins in Julia as a kind of gradient. I painted the very tip let it dry a little and then went back over about 2/3rds down. I made some hearts using a 3d nail art mould I picked up on ebay and I filled it with Salon Systems acrylic L&P in white. I then painted them with Models own in Sophie's Pink.
Thanks for stopping by and especially thank  you to the people who take the time to comment I really appreciate your feedback

Leopard Print and Roses

I'm sure by now you all know how much I love roses and leopard print. So I have put them both together.
Products used:
Models Own - White - under pink to stop leopard showing through
Sophies Pink - main colour of roses
                       Champagne - main nail colour
Purple ash - centre dots for leopard print
Pink fever - dark lines on roses
Nude Beige - Under the champagne to hide nail line
Collection 2000 dynasty as the highlights on the rose
Black nail art pen

I hope you like it. I really love it so I probably won't post for a while now. I'm going to be piling on the top coat to try and make it last the week XD
Thanks for stopping by and thank you to everyone who takes the time to read and comment I really love reading your feedback

Angel Wings

Hi Everyone
Not much to say with these nails. Background colour is Models Own Blooboo and white is a nail art pen and the fine detail is Not Like The Movies. I used NLTM because it is dark but has a shimmer so I thought it would look more angelic.

I hope you guys like it

Peacock nails

Hi everyone
I hope you've had a lovely weekend. I have been giving my nails a rest and scouring the web for inspiration. There have been a lot of Peacock nails around at the moment and I'm not one to be left out!
The base coat was Seche Rebuild. I then used a coat of models own nude beige. I do this when I am using colours where I want to get rid of the nail line without having to use tons of coats or I want a sheer look. I then put on a coat of Barry M Nail Paint in 288 which is a very sheer silver colour. Next I put some Boots No7 Totally Teal on some tinfoil and thinned it with Orly polish thinner and applied it with a small fan shaped brush. I then painted the main shape with the teal polish straight from the bottle. Next I drew the teardrop shape again but slightly smaller with NYC empire state blue and then smaller again with Models Own Champagne. I then used NYC blue for a circle and Orly Witches Blue for the small centre circle. I then topped it with Models Own top and base coat because I knew I was taking it off but wanted to blend it all together for the pictures.

Unfortunately they look a bit too much like eyes and freaked me out a bit so I have already taken them off! Sorry for the poor clean up. I did try to clean them all with acetone and a brush but it didn't work too well :/
I wanted to show you how lovely Models own Nude Beige and Barry M 288 look together. I think this is what angels wear on their fingers :D

The pictures don't quite convey how pretty and princess this is! I am going to try it over some more polishes soon. This could be my latest obession :D
Thanks so much to everyone who made it this far XD I appreciate you taking the time to visit my blog and LOVE getting you comments
Much love
